Wakey Wakey
I eat breakfast, everyday!!! I have a hard time thinking of healthy options to bring to work that don't get old, but one day, in my google reader, I found the following recipe. I took the recipe and made a few changes, and what I came up with is delicious!!!
You will need: Turkey Smoked Sausage (half of one package), small onion, small tomato, spinach (1 cup), 1/2 bell pepper (any color), 8 eggs, shredded cheese.
Instructions: Dice onion, bell pepper, and spinach. Saute in skillet for about 5 minutes. Dice remaining ingredients, place in muffin pan. Mix eggs (as though you are going to scramble them), and pour over other ingredients in the pan. Place small amount of cheese on top of each muffin. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes (until egg is cooked). I eat 1 - 2 a day for breakfast. If you are on WW (like me) 2 of these are 7PP!!

Ashy to Classy???
My bun, from yesterday. I was trying not to add any products to my hair, I looked a mess.
I simply combed my hair, and put 6 flexi-rods in my hair, and this was the result!!! Winning!!

The Best Laid Plan...
I packed my breakfast, egg muffins (recipe coming soon). I ate it, had my 32 ounces of water on deck. Then, the email came, my coworker brought in donuts. I'll just have one right, that's what WW is all about, eating good most of the time! Then, I go to a meeting, and there are more donuts. Seriously?????? I SHOULD have been able to ignore those donuts, to pretend they didn't exist, to not want one. But no, not me, I had to have another one. Then, lunch time comes, and my co-workers want to go to a pizza place for lunch. I cannot with myself, and this day.

Ugh...
So, I took my time, put the curl formers in, slept with them, and the style only lasted for one day, not even 24 hours. When I workout, I sweat, a lot. I sweat a lot in my head. I'm disappointed that the style didn't last, because I really liked it, but that's the breaks. I'm not going to stop working out, so I need to find a style that will either last, or that is so quick, that I won't mind if it's short lived! I'm thinking a pretty bun will be all that my hair can sustain for an active lifestyle! I am going to try a roller set on dry hair either tonight or tomorrow night. I will do a roller set on wet hair after I wash this weekend, and see if that will last any longer. If not, I will resort to twisting and bunning!
Any active curlies that sweat a lot with any ideas????

New Regimen?
My hair has been feeling dry lately. I would like to attribute that dryness to the cold, but it really hasn't been that cold. I am horrible at coming up with and following a regimen. I do ok for a while, and then I go back to my lazy ways. So, this past weekend, I tried something structured, that I'm going to try for a month or two and see if it works for me!
When I was again, either this weekend or next weekend, I will follow the same steps to see how my hair is doing. If it ends up being a fluke, I'll have to tweak it!!
- Put Olive Oil Cholesterol on dry hair, leave in for a few hours (or overnight).
- Wash with whatever shampoo I have (maybe I'll try to find a shampoo to make a staple)
- Saturate hair with oil mix(Vitamin E, Grapeseed, Castor, Coconut, and Castor), sit under dryer, or leave in for a few hours (or all day).
- Wash oil out of hair, and style using the following products:
- Lucio Lucio
- Olive Oil Wrap Foam
- Coconut Oil to seal ends
When I was again, either this weekend or next weekend, I will follow the same steps to see how my hair is doing. If it ends up being a fluke, I'll have to tweak it!!

New Year, New...
Eh, I don't make New Year's Resolutions anymore. Because seriously, I never stick to them. I do for may a couple of months, then I'm back to my old habits. So I figure, why put all that time and energy into noting things I want to improve on just because it's the beginning of the year? I guess it is a good time to reflect on the improvements I've already started to make, and commit to continuing these improvements into the next year!
I will continue to actively participate in weight watchers.
I will continue to pay down debt with the hopes of being out of credit card debt this time next year!!
I will continue getting to know my hair!!
I will continue to pamper myself (responsibly)!!
One of my goals, that I have not actively started, is to run a 5k. Running has been a challenge for me, that I really want to overcome. There is a 4 mile run/walk that is really popular in the city, I'm going to register for that!!
I guess those could be considered resolutions...oh well!
